"Don't!": These 5 things hates cats

There are things that cats just can't stand and really hate them. As a cat lover, you will likely always recognize when your pet is moody, angry, or annoyed. But it is not always clear to see why cats are in a bad mood and what exactly bothers them. Does your cat seem annoyed? Most of the time there are reasons for this - Shutterstock / elwynn

Cats are demanding, sensitive animals. If you do something that your fur noses hate, bad mood is inevitable. The following five things cats dislike and should be avoided.

1. Cats hate a dirty litter box

A lack of hygiene is an absolute crime from the cat's point of view. The clean animals hate it if their litter box is not cleaned regularly. Sometimes they refuse to use a dirty, foul-smelling litter box - and look for another place for their business, such as the sofa or the laundry basket with the clean laundry.

2. Bad food that is no longer fresh

Old, dried or even spoiled food should not be eaten by any pet in the world, as this can not only be gross, but also unhealthy. Cats are particularly sensitive to old food. Therefore, always fill up the bowl for your darling freshly and prefer to feed smaller portions more often, so that not much remains. If so, cover the bowl with some cling film and put it in the fridge. Take it out about 15 to 30 minutes before the feeding time so that the food is not too cold - cats hate it too.

Additional tip: You should not leave cans of cat food open for more than 20 minutes.

3. Please do not ignore!

Cats hate to be ignored by their heart people. House tigers need to rest and often withdraw, but you should try to give the kitty time to cuddle or play.

4. Coarse touches are uncomfortable

Most cats hate rough touches, such as stroking too hard or too fast. Also, you shouldn't stroke the grain and be careful with your stomach. Only a few cats like to be scratched on the stomach, so it is best to pay attention to the body language of your kitty. In any case, tenderness and empathy are the order of the day when cuddling.

5. Cats cannot stand unrest

Too much restlessness disturbs everyone, whether human, cat or dog. Cats have sensitive ears and are startled by loud, unknown sounds such as fireworks or shouts. In the worst case, too much restlessness and the associated stress can have lasting effects on the mind of your loved one.
